WHAT WE CHANGED
Original powder room had not been updated in this home since the 90's. As you can see the wallpaper, Hollywood style vanity lighting and beige fixtures are dated. This is a tiny room but makes a big impact as it's a space that guests can use and see. So let's not forget about it!
With an extremely tight budget, we removed the wallpaper and painted walls in a Navy, replaced the beige sink and toilet with a new white pedestal sink and toilet from Home Depot and incorporated brass colored accents. The Hollywood lighting was replaced with a new bathroom sconce from Wayfair.
BEFORE

WHAT WE STARTED WITH
Wide painted stripes on walls in foyer. Dated
look and colors. Style did not reflect current owner's aesthetic.
AFTER

WHAT WE CHANGED
Re-painted walls in a lovely off-white hue, added a beautiful large mirror with a white washed Baroque frame and an oriental rug for an entrance mat which complements the navy in the powder room.

WHAT WE CHANGED
The basement tends to be the most overlooked part of a house. Many are unfinished, the ones that are finished are done as cheaply as possible. Here you can see unattractive wall-to-wall carpeting and random furniture, artwork and items.
Replaced carpeting with light colored wood luxury vinyl plank flooring (which is waterproof - highly recommend for flood prone basements). Installed standalone shelving at uniform heights for storage. Organized inventory with clear containers. Repetition and symmetry - light and airy are the design concepts we used here.
